Some people fall asleep to white noise. Some people listen to music while studying. Some people have the radio on or a podcast while doing chores around the house. And some programmers (me included) like to have something playing in the background while they code away.

My guilty pleasure is to have a movie playing in the background. Helps me relax and I’ve found out that I wont get as frustrated when I find bugs in my code. I tend to put on movies that are coding/programming theme. I find it extremely inspiring. Sure thing is just a movie but I can’t help to fantasize while I code.

If I need a break from coding, I literary just look at the TV and watch whatever movie is on for a few minutes. Helps me clean my head. If I am stuck trying to debug a piece of code or if I am drawing a blank trying to figure out a way to code a new feature for one of my indie video games. These movies sure do help.

The movie I want to give a shout out to and perhaps recommend to anybody who might be reading this.
